Traditionally, LAAPA has met on the second Wednesday of the month, usually in the morning.  More recently, we have begun to meet at 11:30 a.m. for a luncheon work meeting.  This has allowed many women to take a 'long lunch hour' and brain storm and dream with other delightful Panhellenic sisters.  Beginning in 2005-2006, we tried holding evening meetings staggered with our daytime meetings.

For the 2007-2008 year, it has been decided to move to an evening only format for our business meetings.  We gather beginning at 6:30 p.m. for a 7:00 business meeting.

As Southern California Council of Alumnae Panhellenics (SCCAP) has had their recent meetings close to the Los Angeles area, LAAPA has attended the SCCAP meetings whenever possible.  This has allowed for recruitment information to be fully shared by the California colleges and universities in the Fall, and allowed the dispersal of trends and important NPC updates to be shared in the Spring.  For more information on Southern California Council of Alumnae Panhellenics please visit their website at www.sccap.info. Our May meeting includes our officer installation,  presentation of the Woman of the Year and Scholarship Recipient recognition.
