2008 Badge Day                               March 3, 2008

From NPC    -    http://www.npcwomen.org/

The 26 member organizations of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) are celebrating International Badge Day March 3, an annual event during which sorority women everywhere honor their Greek affiliations by wearing their badge or letters. The theme this year is “Wear Your Badge With Pride.” International Badge Day is co-sponsored by Herff Jones Inc. Greek Division.

Led by the 26 national/international sororities/women’s fraternities that are its members, NPC provides support and guidance for its member organizations and serves as the national voice on contemporary issues of sorority life. Founded in 1902, NPC is one of the oldest and largest women’s membership organizations, representing more than 3.8 million women at more than 620 college/university campuses and more than 4,600 local alumnae chapters in the United States and Canada. Each year, NPC-affiliated collegians and alumnae donate more than $5 million to worthy causes, provide $2.8 million in scholarships to women and donate 500,000 volunteer hours to their communities.

Celebrating 104 years of excellence, partnership and Panhellenic spirit, NPC looks forward to the future because of the continuing collaborative and dedicated efforts of its 26 groups. International Badge Day recognizes the contributions of sorority women and promotes the value of Greek membership ... both as a collegian and an alumna.
